  1. I think it probably rings true for some places, but I don’t think it would have happened in the mall where I used to work. Not only were there customers of all races, ethnicities, religions, but we were a shopping center for Canadians as well. It’s the middle of a tourist area, so there were all kinds of people. There were women wearing the hijab, but also women in burqas. Some with full face veils and lace over their eyes. Those were usually accompanied by men, and frankly, I talked to the women and pretty much ignored the men as much as possible, but I never heard any of them called terrorists.

    So, yes, I think it could happen, but no, I don’t think it happens everywhere.
