Poll position

Okay, so most people get annoyed at pollsters now and again, but I’m not sure what’s the funniest/most intriguing about this story out of Iran:

… that the poll showed that “a large majority of the population in favour of dialogue with the ‘Great Satan’ and nearly half showing sympathy with US policy on Iran”?

… that the poll was by the official state polling institute, at the behest of the national parliament?

… or that the Iranian judiciary has shut down the polling institute and is taking its director and the head of the state news agency to court, charging them with the crime of “”publishing lies to excite public opinion”?
