Well, given that some PETA folks could probably be accused of domestic terrorism under the USPATRIOT law, yeah, that’s not surprising.
Of course, little that PETA does is surprising.
Pleather = Plastic
Plastic = Petroleum
And if somebody is going to eat the meat of the cow, it would be shameful NOT to use the leather.
