Managed to get on and play with Margie for the first time in a few days, which was very nice. Both Psi-clone and Amorpha dinged to 17 after three pre-TF-so-blue-and-green door mishes.
It’s actually a bit scary that PC is now only a level below Velvet, who’ve I considered my “main.” I haven’t been playing her much, though, to let Margie get P-Siren up to her level (to which end, P-Siren is now a member of the Freedom Phalanx).
I also brought made up some file folders for the guide print-outs I’ve made for my various alts, which should make the leveling process a bit easier in the future. I *should* use CoH Planner to lay out where I’m going with these guys, but even with the guides, I still find myself changing my mind sometimes about what seems the most needful based on the experience of the level I’ve just completed.
Yes, you two have been playing Amorpha and Psi-Clone a lot over the past couple of weeks.
Huzzah on the 17th level for both of you.
And on Puck Bunny’s 17 for you, too.
Need to do some trio gaming, while we’re all at the same level.
(And, in another one of those weird fancy-meeting-you-here bits, Psi-clone escorted Amorpha to the Nat store in Skyways … where she ran into Puck Bunny, after earlier discussions.)
As to why the heavy play on those two — I guess it’s because they’re our most effective duo at the moment. Plus both characters seem to fit our play styles and cathartic needs at the moment. And, as our highest-level carefully-planned characters, they’re pretty effective (on their own and with each other); both Velvet and P-Siren have some design flaws in them from being first out the gate.
Well I have four at 17 now, so take your pick on the combo wanted.
Well the real question is who do you want to play? I’m pushing for trying the Velvet/Siren combo tonight. That duo could use a controller, scrapper or blaster. (P-Siren has some old missions that need to be cleared. I also just realized that she is way behind on contacts)
Well, if you want to go with P-Si and Velvet, mightas well make it a FP team.
Also, Puck is on the second Julius mish of kill 10 trolls.
And Dave, the CoH Planner works great for helping those of us that want to plan out all fifty levels in one shot. It does allow you to compare spec’s and to go back and redo things as needed.
I have a copy of CoH Planner, and it’s keen. As i said, I’m not so sure I know where and what I want to go with that I’m sure it’s useful, but I might go back and play with it some more.
