Got a latish start last night, but figured it was time to run Kazima and Honeygun again and work off some debt from Monday night’s bloodbath.
We eventually ended up in a nice Vahzilok door mish, with many yellows and occasional whites and oranges. Lots of vomit, plenty of danger, and pushing to the HP/END limits, but we finally freed all the hostages in the office building, during which we both dinged to 15, which gives us that much better power (and slotting) for the next time we try the Cavern of Transcendence (which we are now at max level for).

Dubh just dinged over into 14th tuesday, and should be 15 by the next attempt.
Tuesday was a great teaming night. First time that I’ve seen any Dark/Dark Defenders besides Dubh. Funny thing was that when the team started up it was one Dark/Dark scrapper and 3 Dark/Dark Defenders. It was a wild team up.
By the end of the evening the other defenders had left and a standard Emp/Rad defender joined. We also picked up a great tank that loved the fact that Tar patch really held the mob on him.
Has a date been set for the next Cavern attempt?
As Avocet was nearly useless the first time around, I’ve been playing Power Fists. His Grant Invisibility may come in handy.
Got in a group last night that started to do my Frostfire mission. Some people were whing about low xp, so we left and tried to do the Pumicite mission. That lasted about 5 seconds! The leader decided we would just hunt. I was getting 0-7 xp/debt removal per Troll. Whee. When the leader and some others quit, I became team leader, and took us back to Frosty. All 6 of us levelled, with no complaints about xp!
So Power Fists is 12, and has Combat Jump, but still no travel power. I don’t know if I can get his level up before the Cavern. Let me know when we’re trying it, and whether you want PF or Av.
Now that I think of it, if PF has just finished Frosty, that means he’ll eventually get the Cavern mission himself. Maybe I should take aAvocet, and let PF wait for his own Cavern mish.
Avo…If you want Power Fists to do the Task force, keep him in the Hollows and don’t do missions outside, and make sure that at least one of your missions is done every team up. If you don’t do this, you’ll be to high a level to get it.
