Potpourri for 600 Prestige, Alex …

Bits and pieces from the Dev list:

  1. A new patch was briefly up on Test today, before being backed off. Among the features was, evidently, the ability once a week, to drop a mission. It’s primarily intended as a way to finish missions that are buggy and can’t be completed, but you could use it just to avoid something Really Irritating. Once a week, anyway.
  2. “Monsters, John! Monsters from the Id NCSoft!”
  3. Will there be a freespec with I8? Possibly. Though by no means certainly (nor even probably).

  1. Huh…
That’s cool, there are a lot of monsters that I have never seen.
The delete thing would be nice. I know that EQII has that for most of the quests (yes, there are some that you cannot delete), and I found it to be a handy feature if you ended up with one that was undoable (Heroic’s and Epic’s), or you had out levelled it and just didn’t feel like going and doing it.
At least that means I can get rid of the DJ Zero one I have on a lot of my toons straight away.

  2. Once a week per toon. You get mission credit for it, interestingly, which is why they don’t want to make it more frequent than that. But, yeah, the “kill all eleven million little gray robots hiding in this very old mission warehouse …” is a perfectly fine thing to skip. (As is “Keep the Fir Bolg out of the Plinths!”)
