Retconned, finally able to figure out how to choose Force instead of Elec. Kinda miss the arcing (although it did occasionally get me hip-deep in doodoo–and I fluy!).
I’ve enjoyed Force — Margie’s enjoyed Elec.
In retrospect, I should have created a stable of heroes prior to the granting of the retcon. Oh, well. Welcome Lucky Star to Millennium City! She has fire powers now, and will probably get some TK later.
I still haven’t dabbled in mixing frameworks. Margie, I believe, has. Sticking with the basics for now.
Well, I had to get Avo his ice powers. Wall of Ice generates ice cages that so far have been nearly useless, as the bad guys can still shoot at me. I was hoping for a mez. Apparently it does some damage while they’re caged, so it’s not a complete waste. I imagine there will be circumstances in which it will eb quite handy, but i haven’t encountered any yet.
THe immobilizes are importanat to keep melee damage out of your face, many enemies do a LOT more damage HtH. The Immobs also allow you to break line of sight with them so they can’t shoot you for a sec.
I’m really enjoying my Gadgeteering/Power Armor mix!
