I’m jealous. I got the NPC killed on my first trip into the prison and couldn’t get to the Hot Cells without her. I’ll try again later this week!
She died on me too, but down in cell-blocks A-D. I was able to get the keys – solo and then head down with out her or her clueless team.
Save your dampening field repair kits. They are much more useful later. I ran out before hitting the A-D and would have liked to have them. You can get some more on the lower levels. Also, pick up at least on set of robot parts from the A-D cell block (just click on a disabled robot), they are useful later.

I can’t take the robot parts . . .I’m Science, and they require Arms of at least 240 to harvest =(
I got all 4 keys, but was completely clueless where to go after that. I thought maybe the NPC would tell me . . . .Do I need to go into the area protected by the giant and scary Master villains like Ogre and Talisman?

There is a consol back at the main elevator lobby on that level, that glows once you have all the keys. That will then allow you to go down the elevator.
I did not fight thoses AVs or many other bad guys the I carefully walked around.
There were other glowies that I could not harvest. Maybe they provide similar goodies.
