They *do* love their Chickens in that game, don’t they.
Apparently.
I’ve been tempted by chicken play — but Margie assures me it is rife with exactly the busywork missions that I hate.
Still, funny. “Amon Hen.” Ha.
LotRO was in beta testing last April 1st, so the majority of current players didn’t get to see the announcement about the new player race: blue hobbits with white pants and hats, known as Smeorfs. 🙂
Ha. That CoX one was quite amusing — though not quite amusing as Posi having to post that, yes, this *is* an April Fools gag.
Actually, some floating visual Biff-Bang-Boom effects would be kind of fun. 🙂
By the way, if the post title is a Super Chicken reference, the quote is actually “You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.”
Hmmm. Clearly I got my “George of the Jungle” mixed in there. I’ve fixed it (or at least changed the name).

I now see that CoH had their little joke, as well: http://www.coh.com/news/archives/2008/04/city_of_heroes_47.html
