- 3 cups water
- 2 lemons (thinly sliced into rounds)
- 1/2 cup mint (leaves)
Ingredients: Bourbon Iced Tea Lemonade Punch
- 6 cups boiling water
- 6 black tea bags
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 cups cold water
- 1 1/2 cups bourbon
- 1 cup lemon juice
To serve:
- 1 lemon (thinly sliced into rounds, for garnish)
- 1/2 bunch mint (leaves, for garnish)
- In a 9 1/4-inch ring mold, add the water, lemon slices and mint.
- Place in the freezer and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, run the ring mold under a little hot water, remove from the pan and place in the punch bowl.
Directions: For the Bourbon Iced Tea Lemonade Punch
- In a large pot with 6 cups boiling water, add the tea bags and sugar.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Discard tea bags.
- Stir in the 6 cups of cold water, vodka and lemon juice.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Directions: To Serve
- Place the ice mold in a punch bowl and fill with the punch.
- Ladle into glasses.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon and mint.
- Serve immediately.
- Tip: Make the ice mold in advance and mix the punch together and keep chilled in the refrigerator. Before the party assemble in the punch bowl to keep cold!
Serves: 6 – 12 (depends on how hot it is!)
