Watch out for people taking a surreptitious spoonful straight from the container!
Ingredients:
- 1 c unsweetened cocoa
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 c whipping cream (although Nancy just uses whole milk)
- 1/2 c butter (1/4 lb)
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
- Place butter and cocoa in saucepan and melt.
- Stirring constantly, add sugar and cream.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Boil for one minute.
- Remove from stove and place in a blender.
- Add vanilla.
- Blend on high for 5 minutes.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Reheat in microwave 25 – 30 seconds before using.
Serves: 2 1/2 cups
