Christmas Day, 2017 Orange, CA

Dinner at Helen’s is always a delight.  This was a “simple dinner” this year.  The grandson Alex made the donuts and sauces with the help of cousin James.  Of course we had Rafanelli Cabernet Sauvignon – 1914 a great year!

  • Party Shrimp
  • Helen’s White Veal Bratwurst Sausage Bites
  • Chips with guacamole and onion dip
  • Cashews
  • Clam Chowder
  • Gerardo Gonzalez’s Caesar Salad
  • Risotto with Parmesan Cheese
  • Cheesy Peas
  • Herbed Pork Tenderloin with Apple Chutney
  • Cookies – Almond Sour Cherry Cookies, German Spice Cookies, Linzer Tort
  • Ice Cream – three kinds (because everyone wants something different!)
  • Donut Holes (Fried No Yeast) – Bavarian Cream, Ganache, Easy Raspberry Filling
