Sad to see this, as the end of an era (as Margie said she'd seen it put, "an open casket funeral for the space age"). There are lots of space-related activities still going on, both in the US and (especially, it seems) abroad, but that sense of … well, endeavor, seems to have left us as a national, if not racial, priority.
