Which means it’s time for The Thursday Thumb-Twiddler …
1. Would you prefer to be blind or deaf?
I spend so much of my time in visual media (be it on-line or TV or reading) that to be blind would be horrible. Not that I’d enjoy being deaf, but I think I could work around it a lot more easily.
2. If you could transfer to your mate the one trait that you possess that you wish s/he did, what would it be?
Desire for a TiVo?
Hmmm. That’s actually difficult, since so much about Margie is so wonderful, thus it’s difficult to point out a flaw (let alone one that I don’t possess as well).
Perhaps … I seem to do better on less sleep than she does. Is that a qualifying trait? (On the other hand, that trait of hers tends to get me into bed earlier than I would otherwise, which might actually be a good thing).
3. If you could fly in a hot air balloon over any city in the world, what city would you choose?
Heck, there are plenty of cities in the world I’d actually like to walk in, let alone fly a hot air balloon over.
I’m actually going to go close to home and choose Denver. I like flying overhead (in a jet) and looking down on things from a different perspective. Being able to do so via balloon would be even more enjoyable.
Not that I think Denver is the most beautiful city in the world (though it’s certainly a nice one). I’d just enjoy the change of view in being able to see things from something other than street level.
