One of the illegitimate offspring of King Oberon. Her mother, wife to Prime Minister Orkuz of Begma, had an affair with Amber’s king during a diplomatic visit. Coral is taller than her sister Nayda and the Prime Minister, slender with reddish brown hair. In The Blood of Amber by Roger Zelazny, Coral decides that instead of telling the Pattern where to send her, she would go ahead and let it decide to send her wherever it wanted to. Her curiosity unwittingly opened her up to becoming a pawn between the forces of Order and Chaos.
Which Amberite are you?

Yeah, that’s probably about right. Makes more sense than Oberon, which is the first thing that popped out.

  1. Florimel, also known as “Flora”, is beautiful and usually passive. Quick to fall for a handsome face, but as fickle as they come. She means well, but a girl has to look out for herself. In Roger Zelazny’s “Nine Princes in Amber”, Corwin describes her as having red haired with eyes that “were as blue as Lake Erie at three o’clock on a cloudless summer afternoon”, she kept watch over Corwin during his exile on Earth and kept Eric updated on his whereabouts.

OK, I don’t play Amber but I was still curious since all you guys play it. Dave, you’re gonna have to tell me if this fits or not since I’m not familiar with the characters. 🙂

  2. In Roger Zelazny’s Sign of the Unicorn, Corwin describes Fiona: “green eyes fixed on Flora’s own blue as they spoke, there beside the fireplace, hair more than compensating for the vacant hearth, smoldering, reminded me, as always, of something from which the artist had just drawn back, setting aside his tools, questions forming behind his smile. The place at the base of her throat where his thumb had notched the collarbone always drew my eyes as the mark of a master craftsman, especially as she raised her head, quizzical or imperious, to regard us taller others.” Fiona is probably the most intelligent of all the princesses of Amber – or at least the most cunning. Despite her 5’2″ height, she is one lady you do not want to tick off.

Not sure if I think this fits or not. Maybe…

  3. I didn’t even think about that Dave, sorry. I wouldn’t thwack you though one way or the other. Honesty is good no matter how painful it is. 🙂
