Thnowy Thursday

It’s the Thursday Thumb-Twiddler, now with More Thursday!…

It’s the Thursday Thumb-Twiddler, now with More Thursday!

1. If you were able to take a one-month trip anywhere in the world, with money and vacation time no object, where would you go and what would you do?

Hmmm. I really don’t know. I’d love to spend time in a lot of the US, touring places I’ve only read about, visiting friends I’ve never met (or haven’t seen in years). Probably the Northeast, if I were to take that tack.

On the other hand, I’d love to spend even more time in the British Isles, particularly Wales, Scotland and Eire.

On yet another hand, particularly if money were no object, touring in Asia — Japan, China, Thailand and Cambodia — would be really special, too.

A month might be just about right to do Greece and the Aegean. Or Egypt and Israel. Or …

Hmmm. Better start playing the lottery more.

2. How do you react to people who talk loudly while the movie is playing?

I am of the “pointedly turn around and glare at them” school. I think most people who do it really don’t know how much of a bother they are being.

Margie, on the other hand, will actually go get the usher, bless her.

3. What meal do you look forward to the most?

That’s another tough one.

Probably my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I almost never eat it, because (a) I get up too early, and (b) am incredibly lazy, particularly early in the morning. But breakfast foods are comfort foods, and waffles, pancakes, French Toast, eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, fritatas, etc. are all very high on my list.

The meal I most eagerly await is lunch time, which means I get to leave my desk and read for a while.

The meal I get the best food at is dinner, since Margie is a fabulous cook. Plus it’s the meal most likely to have dessert, which is usually a thing to look forward to.
