There’s a lot I could say about Pat Robertson’s recent statements about Islam being an inherently violent and hateful religion. But not only does Robertson spell out his hypocrisy in clear, bold terms, JillMatrix has already beat me to the punch.

There’s a lot I could say about Pat Robertson’s recent statements about Islam being an inherently violent and hateful religion. But not only does Robertson spell out his hypocrisy in…
Robertson can’t even get his facts right, especially about the recent events in Nigeria.
I’ve read too many blogs echoing the same sentiments recently – sadly 9/11 has unhinged a lot of otherwise sane people.
I’ve been doing some strange research on religion lately…I’ve never been able to understand the whole fundamentalist thing before. The idea is that the best interpretation strategy for reading the bible is the attitude “there is no interpretation strategy for reading the bible” never hit me before. “…then you begin to say, ‘Well, this is the way they are.’ It’s not a question of interpretation. Look at history,” he says in the interview. Not only does he interpret the Bible literally, he speaks as if he belives that all people should interpret their Books literally. I know, obvious things to say, but they never hit me before. I didn’t understand.
Religion of Peace. Keep repeating it and you’ll be fine.
