Lordy, I’ve been a slacker on doing these. It’s the Tuesday This-or-That.

1. Go out and buy gifts, or shop online/mail order? I do a bit of both, but we do a lot of shopping on-line and mail order. Much easier, especially since it mostly has to be shipped to California anyway.

We are way behind on our shopping. Good thing we’re going to Disney World. I guess.

2. Gift cards/certificates or pick out gifts? I much prefer to give personal gifts, but there are some folks that gift certs make a lot more sense for.

3. Pay cash or charge holiday gifts? Hard to buy stuff from Amazon with cash.

4. Are most of your gifts mailed or given in person? Given in person. We mail a few to folks we don’t see over the holidays.

5. Are you an early-bird or last-minute holiday shopper? Yes.

6. If you shop in stores…big chain stores or smaller specialty stores? Mostly big chain stores, just because that’s where we happen to be. We do smaller, specialty stores, though, if we run across them.

7. Wrap gifts yourself or have them wrapped at the store or mall? Wrap them ourselves. I hate paying for giftwrapping services.

8. Shopping on *Black Friday* (day after Thanksgiving)…did you or didn’t you?

Not unless you count going to Home Depot to buy wood screws for the fence.

9. Is your holiday gift list large or small? Big.

10. Is it better to give or to receive? It’s better to give. But there’s nothing wrong with receiving.
