An aerial survey and analysis of protesters in San Francisco last Sunday has come up with a number significantly smaller than either police or organizer estimates, 65k instead of 200k.
The results? The police and the organizers both agree that the analysis is goofy. Not that they have any particular methodology they can point to for their own numbers, just that the picture proof (which is actually in line with BART estimates) “feels” too small.
