I don’t know if it’s Post-two-weeks-with-the-grandparents Syndrome, or just the Terrible Twos making themselves known in the last few months of that age range, but, boy, has Katherine been a whiny little piaga the last few days. Cute, articulate, sociable, but also whiny, demanding, intransigent, and prone to running away or rejecting every option to a situation that you provide her.
Rrg.
On the other hand, I hear from Margie that both sets of grandparents demand (that is the word used) that we do some sort of extended vacation with Katherine in their custody as an annual event.
Maybe not England, but there are plenty of other places we could go. And maybe not two weeks, but …
Hmmm. I wonder how soon “annual” means?
