  1. I’m with Andrea on this one. What he did was legal, and under the direction of the mall management (unless he’s lying through his teeth, and swore out a false police statement).

    My guess? This is part of the mall management trying to appease the lawyer who was arrested, or the protesters who showed up in support of him. (“And another thing! That guard who harrassed me? Fire his ass!” “Yes, sir. Please don’t sue us, sir.”)
