The drive in today was just fine. The only places I encountered snow was where folks had driven into the snow on the verge and scattered into the pavement. There were plenty of wet spots on the Interstate, but no huge lakes or anything.
Walking into the office, I spotted a number of trees (mostly conifers, but not exclusively) that had branches snapped off, and at least one pine by the side door that had broken off in the middle of its trunk. Unfortunate.
We seem to have gotten by at home with no major branch impact, though the mugo pine by the front door is still flat on the ground under the snow. It’s pretty flexible, so I hope there’s no long-term damage.
