Actually, it was a rather sedate weekend. I did very few of the things that required doing, and instead goofed off (in that zany, crazy, devil-may-care way that Margie and I do — surfing the Internet and playing computer games).
Last night played Oriental Adventures after too long of a hiatus. Shishiko kicked butt, natch, even if she did get rained on too much.
Slept poorly, which is unfortunately, since today I get to drive the airport, fly off to Houston, and spend tomorrow in Houston meeting with Many People on Diverse Subjects I’d Rather Not Be Discussing. The trip to the airport is not being enhanced by the prediction of a couple of inches of snow today.
I get back tomorrow afternoon in time to race home, then head down to the church for the Vestry meeting. Yipee-skipee.
Bleah. Gonna be one of those weeks.
The latest forcast is for rain during the day and snow at night.
Ah. Well, that’s better. Thanks.
Need clarification (not that I want to know the topics): are the Diverse Subjects things you’d rather not be discussing here, or rather not be discussing at all, including with the people in Houston.
Again, not that I want to know the topics, but it changes the tenor of the sentence 🙂
Well, clearly they’re things I’d rather not be discussing here (aside from their presence). Indeed, they’re things I can’t discuss here.
I’d rather not be discussing them down there, either, but that’s why They pay me the big bucks.
By the way, Margie — major snowfall just started up here. Off to the airport I go … 🙂
