Finally have worked about 95% of the kinks out of the home entertainment system. Margie and I watched Goldeneye (one of our faves) as part of our Working Our Way Through the Bond Series. Having stereo was nice, and having the surround and subwoofer was pretty keen, too. I like.

Remotes don’t work with either the Cable box or the Sony VCR, alas. Irritating.

The wireless speakers we’re using for the surround tend to drop the signal with a dog-like “woof” when things get quiet on that channel. I need to perhaps boost the signal to them, to avoid that happening.

Various neatening and tacking up of wires and putting away of things in the cabinet must ensue, but, damn, it was nice to get the whole thing working in more or less they way I wanted it. Huzzah.
