Congratulations to Mary for beating her Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk fundraising goal of $2K. You rock, Mary!
There’s still time before the 21-23 November walk to continue donating however. So don’t use that as an excuse not to.
And here’s hoping there’s still a “heart of San Diego” left in a couple of weeks …
Thanks for posting. I’ve been really close for a couple of days and then had a flurry of dontations that put me over the top. I’ve had tremendous support from family and friends.
As to those fires – my extended family made it through, some by the skin of their teeth. But tonight all of the Julian and Palomar areas are evacuated and it is reported the 90% of Cuyamaca (the village near the lake) is lost. I’m crossing my finger for the Rockin’ A B&B, but it’s going to be close.
And the American Red Cross could use your dontations, too. They have opened dozens of evacuation centers over the last week for hundres of families who have been evacuated or lost homes. Funds can be earmarked for the SD or LA fire victims.
