Looks like I picked a great day to get the sprinklers blown for the season.
(Actually, the timing has turned out to be perfect.)

Hopefully not a day late – It 24 degrees right now and still falling.
Couple days will hopefully not be fatal. I hope. We’ll see in the spring. 🙂
I did turn the timer off last night.
Rrg. Just got IMed from Margie that the sprinkler folks cancelled, resched for next Friday. Compressor won’t work when it’s this cold.
Rrg.

Sounds like it’s time for you to buy your own compressor. Plus it would be really handy for those yearly addition/home improvement projects that you all do.
I don’t know that the usual power tool compressor is sufficient to blow out a sprinkler system. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s not, given that the compressors those guys use are on their own trailer.
Maybe we can build one of our own …
Ah, well. We’ve shut off the water to the pipes, and drained the line from the valve down. We’ll just hope things are icily insulated and survive to next Friday without further disaster.
I do need to detach the hoses from their bibs, though.
