Someone’s idea of a “teaser trailer” for a hypothetical Peter Jackson adaptation of The Hobbit. Sweet — even if Ian Holm would be a bit old for that book’s Bilbo.
So there were clips there of both the LotR trilogy (Bilbo, Gollum, the Ring, Gandalf, elves) and of, I believe, Dragonslayer. No dwarves, though. Still, fun.

The problem is that while Jackson has expressed interest, Christopher Tolkien apparently does not like what Jackson has done and is refusing to talk about another film. He also, from a NZ/Aus news report I read, is refusing to give Jackson permission to build a museum/exhibit hall to exhibit the costumes, weapons, etc., from the film.
What a shame.
