They’re pretty, they’re smart, they’re slick. Google Maps is going to give Mapquest and the like a serious run for their money.
Oh, and the URLS are a lot shorter and nicer than MapQuests, and you can do searches like “hotels near centennial co” or “mile high comics” and get a nice map of locations. Suhweet.
Oh, and no ads. Cool.
I’m getting a few odd drop-outs of map sections, but that’s part of why it’s a Beta, right?

I took a look — pretty spiffy. But I’m a little startled to see an ocean where South America should be….
