I like bacon. A lot.
Bacon ice cream. Uh … not so much.
On a day trip from Bear, Del., Linus and her friend Leigh Ann McDonough, 24, flip-flopped into the otherwise old-fashioned ice cream parlor thinking icy-cold mango smoothies. But Udder Delight owner Chip Hearn steered them to an impromptu taste test of his newest creations — one of which may be the world’s first barbecue-flavored ice cream. The other test flavors: a chunky bacon ice cream and a pale-red Cackalacky Spice Sauce ice cream.
Linus licks the bacon ice cream. “Not bad,” she says. But she’s not big on the frozen bits of bacon. McDonough thinks it tastes a little like butter pecan and kind of likes it.
There are some things Man Was Not Meant To Know. The experience of bacon ice cream is probably one of them.
There’s an ice cream parlour here in Venezuela, in a city called Merida, that’s got tons of crazy flavours. I love ice cream too but I wouldn’t dare to try one of those! I’ve heard of people that have tried them, I think my cousin told me she tried some cheese flavour and loved it. I think that’s absolutely gross. If I ever go I’d probably ask for vanilla or something like that. 😉

On the other hand, a “hot animatronic lady to cook bacon” sounds like a fine idea.
