Sugar is out of quarantine, allowed to roam freely through the house and, as of yesterday, outside if she chooses (thus far, not so much). She remains highly sociable, highly verbal, and in love with playing with a little mousey cat toy.
She’s also reached a modus vivendi with Mist, and the two touch noses whenever Mist comes in, with Mist giving a little bat if she surprises him. Indy is a bit more wary, but that’s because Sugar keeps trying to come up and sniff his tail while he’s eating, and we all know how off-putting that can be.
Katherine continues to be diligent in keeping food/water filled and litter boxes clean (for which she is now drawing an allowance). Her time alternates between being upset that we’re spending so much attention on Sugar (instead of her), and spending attention on Sugar (which is a taste, I suppose, of what a New Baby would have been like).
All’s well.
Yes, I was impressed. Someone did a really good job in raising her.
