The big amusement park here in Denver, Six Flags Elitch Gardens is up for sale.
I’ve been there a couple of times, and it’s basic Thrill Ride City. Fine for those as like it, but expensive, crowded, and not much fun for folks who prefer the Disney immersive environment.
Still, it’s a landmark, and I hope it finds a good new home, and doesn’t get turned into office buildings or something.
Not that, if I had $170MM lying around, I’d buy it. I can think of a lot of other things I’d rather spend that kind of money on.
