UPDATE: At the Denver Zoo, on the carousel.
As a trivia item, the train operator at the Denver Zoo mentioned in his spiel that carousels spin counter-clockwise, merry-go-rounds clockwise (as suggested here). Wikipiedia, though, suggests other reasons for directional differences having nothing to do with nomenclature.
