Map symbols

The National Park Service has all their map symbols / pictographs (and some background patterns) available for download in PDF and Illustrator format. Very cool. I find these things work great, with a little imagination, as web page navigation aids and the like — quickly recognizable, and lending a certain frisson of nostalgic charm.

Because we have an insecure, Daddy-issues, petulant child in the #WhiteHouse, expect higher #toiletpaper prices in the US. Which, given the rising tide of shit around here (not least of which from food-borne illnesses), is bad news.

The funny/tragic part of this is that #Trump has blown any credit to his accusations, even if in this instance they were true. Except among his fanatical followers, who would believe him if he claimed it was commie space aliens responsible.
