UPDATE: Okay, I’ve gotten ecto back working with my blog. In an annoying twist, WS_FTP again failed to properly copy over some of the files in the installation, leading to, well, key files like XMLRPC.cgi not being the current version. Which, not surprisingly, led to errors.
I think I have things fixed now, though the system seems unwonted prone to timing out.
UPDATE: By the bye, having now spent a week or so doing posting via the MT interface … yeah, I appreciate using a client like ecto.
And, by the bye, I updated MT on 8 September. (Testing problems I’m having with internal trackbacks.)

Yet another test. And, you know, it’s getting annoying having to enter in all these tests, just to see if something is working properly. Really. Yeesh.
Let’s try another one. The “non-commenting subscription” thing seems to be working (yay!). Can I do a “subscribe to this post” sub?
