1. I’m now using TwitterGadget as my on-computer Twitter client, It’s got a much smaller visual and resource impact than the other clients I tried, but has some modest functionality improvements over just going to Twitter.com. I’m sure if I had zillions of followers that I needed to group into different categories, etc., I’d want something like TwitterDeck. I don’t.
2. On the other hand, I’m not happy with TinyTwitter on my Blackberry. Some author photos (Neil Gaiman) don’t render correctly, and there’s no RT or Favorite capability. Irksome. I might try TwitterBerry, but I am certainly open to suggestions.
3. Nice article here on 10 Ways To Be Useful on Twitter. Which actually apply (mostly) to blogging, FaceBook, and other online social media.
Umm. Tiny Twitter has ReTweet. Right at the top of the menu of things you can do with a post you’re reading. I rarely mark anything “favorite”, so I didn’t miss that functionality.

at the bottom there’s a “Copy” command, so I can copy the contents (and add “RT @”), but that’s not quite a ReTweet.
I flag things “Favorite” largely to come back to them later (e.g., to follow a tweeted link).
Time to upgrade to the iPhone. TwitterFon rocks. 😀
Dave, you need to update the code. My version has:
Update
Tweet
Access Links
Reply
Direct
Retweet
User Timeline
Unfollow
Delete, etc.
I actually DON’T have “Copy”, which indicates to me that they they dropped it for Retweet in the newer version.
Weird. I’ve reinstalled the latest versions (http://tinytwitter.com/m/) and neither has the menus either at 0.9.9 (“Old Java”) and 1.1.0 (“New Java”).
