
From my tracking, I needed out (as of Friday) 971 calories below budget (budget designed for me to lose about a pound a week).
So huzzah for self control (and thank goodness for my karate class, which provides some good caloric outgo).
Tracking calories, for me, is pretty important. It’s way too easy to simply say, “Well, I’ll just have a nibble of that” multiple times when I’m not counting — my brain pretends it’s a small amount, and simply doesn’t do the math.
So … yay.
