Actually, it’s not so much the magical technology, but the messages in 96-POINT FONT IN BIG CONTRASTING BOXES THAT FILL UP MOST OF THE SCREEN, where the letters are TYPED OUT ONE CHARACTER AT A TIME BY THE COMPUTER WITH SOME SORT OF SOUND EFFECT.
I want my status bars and windows to be small things that I can continue my work around whilst they are doing their thing.
