Yiiiieeee! That makes me cringe just to look at it, pin, staples and all.

Missing screw? Whatchoo mean, sayin’ “Oops!” there?

No — there was a fracture where that screw would go, so nothing solid to screw it into.

I really wish I could have gotten the view that showed the screws in profile going through the plate. Maybe when we do the Colorado ortho appointment.

As a side note, I will say it was relatively painless going from Kaiser Colorado to Kaiser California — not as seamless as it ought to have been, but close enough (in comparison to if we’d simply been Aetna-covered people trying to find a doctor to visit in California).

My personal 1st-run #TOS story:

Probably s.3, when it aired at 10pm instead of 8:30. As a 7yo, that was too late for me to be up, resulting in a battle each week.

Once I was really miffed about being sent to bed before #StarTrek, so I locked the hallway door the previous owners had put in. I then fell fast asleep. When my parents went to bed, they had to tap on the bedroom window to wake up my younger brother to unlock the door for them.

No recollection of the immediate consequences.
