- Ahhh. Esconsed at very nice condo, surf crashing, cool breeze wafting, pizza digesting. Time to start RELAXING. #
- Tho trying to figure out why only one of the 4-5 photos posted today via MMS to Flickr to Blog made it – about 14 hrs after the fact. Rrrg. #
- Btw, condo has wired xnet, but at insane location. Not sure what lv of blogging (beyond Twitter) I'll manage. We'll see. #
- Just another day in Paradise. Awoken by rising sun and crashing wave and gentle breeze. Lovely ocean view out windows. #
- Appears TSA has decided the only safe flight is one that is too bothersome and unpleasant for anyone to fly on. #
- Next up from TSA: "Strip em down, Sedate em up, Strap em in – for Safety!" #
- So far have seen no small blue aliens, cursed tikis, red Ferraris, or Danno booking anyone. Unlike any Hawaiian experience I was ready for. #
- Fascinating how few guide books, brochures, etc, make no ref to handicap accessibility for activities (as M rolls a mile in their wheels). #
- A pleasant, intimate brunch at he Grand Hyatt. Intimate breakfast for 9 that is, appropriate for the Hearst-like setting. And yummy. #
- K: "They sure know how to treat kids right here! They've got miso soup!" #
- The waiter brought an extra chair. For my hat. #
- Touched ocean! Glee! Now must wash off sand. #
- Got the underground backstage tour at the Grand Hyatt, in lieu of many ramps up to lobby level. Expected to see the Doctor run past. #
- Sunsets are at 6pm here in Hawaii. Very important when making dinner arrangements. #
- At the Kawai Costco. 50 gal drums of Kirkland poi on weekend special! #
- Back at condo with foodstuffs. Need to remember things go stale here about 15 minutes after opening. #
- At the Beach House (Poipu), across fr our hotel, all set to watch faboo sunset. At long last: MAI-TAIS! #
- Have I been writing "Kawai" rather than "Kauai"? Oops. #

My stay on Oahu included a guided tour, in which we saw the temple that appeared in several Magnum episodes, as well as a restaurant that was co-owned by Selleck.
We keep being offered the Kaua’I Movie Tour to show us spots used for everything fr Jurassic Park to Gilligan’s Island. Alas, very pricy.
So, here?
