Though the road through the Gibralter airport runway is busy, the airport is not, so the road is open much more than it is closed. And the road is the one that connects Gibralter with the mainland Spain!
And regarding runways and cities, downtown San Diego isn’t even two miles from our airport, and then there’s the pesky Laurel Travel Building to dodge as you drop the plane towards the runway.
Oh, and that’s the Suprise in the Kirin ads, not the Star. My Bad!
Yeah, San Diego’s an exciting place to land, too. 🙂
