Yard bird

I did another 3 or so hours of yardwork this afternoon …

  1. I trimmed back the deadwood on the roses in front. They took a major hit this winter, and some of them may not survive. On the down side, that’s sad. On the up side — an excuse to buy roses! (Note to self: Denver Botanic Gardens Plant Sale, 7-8 May …)
  2. I Rounded-Up a lot of weeds already coming up.
  3. I restocked the mulch in the lower front yard, four bags full.
  4. I tested out all the sprinklers.  Huzzah! All zones fired up.
  5. I did some hand watering.

Not building the pyramids, perhaps, but a respectable afternoon’s work.
