The dreaded Mary Poppins?
Dave has always feared the awesome powers of the Poppins.
Okay, let’s look at this:
1. She’s magical. Very powerfully magical.
2. She’s a disciplinarian, and is just as willing to use her power to punish as to please.
3. She’s prim, proper, and, of course, “practically perfect in every way.”
She rings every Mother/Teacher/OldTestamentDeity chime in my lizard brain. 🙂
