- Warner Bros. Kills Plans to Release ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I’ in 3D (Huzzah!) – Glad to hear it. Post-production 3D has been very mixed, to say the least. There’s enough time, in theory, to do Part 2 that way and do a decent job of it.

- Some Perspective on Park51 – And for those who suggest that “Well, there are real Muslim threats against the populace in 2010, but the Catholics weren’t engaging in plots,” consider the Catholic-Protestant wars in Europe and, particularly, in England, and how bloody suppression of one side or the other had a long, awful history there. There was plenty of “justification” for the protesters in 1806 to grab onto.
- Stevens: Campaign money is “simply not speech” – I’m not sure I agree that money (or spending) cannot be construed as speech. But I do agree that corporations do not have personal rights the same as you or I do.
