Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- The GOP’s emergency-room argument lives – Perhaps it can be defeated by noting that emergency-room care is “the most inefficient system of socialized medicine ever devised.”
- Marshall: Soldiers Can’t Fight If They’re “Worried About This Guy Whose Got Eyes” On Them – “Don’t confuse me with the truth! I’m pontificating!”
- Barton: The Smithsonian, like Satan after the Crucifixion of Jesus, Regrets Hide/Seek Exhibit – Don’t confuse me with the truth! I’m pontificating!
- Conspiracy Thinking – Skepticism’s Evil Twin – What does it mean to be a skeptic, vs. a conspiratist. In some ways, the latter circles all the way around the spectrum to become anything but a skeptic, no matter how independent and free-thinking they portray themselves.
