Twelfth Night Party

Okay, we had a lot of fun, but not quite this much

Well, it took several hours of pre-prep — cooking and cleaning — but we got it done.  Many thanks to Stan, Mary, and Joanne, for their being here a couple of hours early to lend a hand, and Bruce for staying over and helping with the post-party clean-up.

We had about 25 people or so in attendance, which is about what we’ve been averaging.  None of the folks from our respective offices made it, due to various miscommunications, but it was great to see Kate making what must be one of her last public appearances pre-bebe.

Post-party gift exchanging also was good times.

The temps out weren’t as cold as I expected, and I don’t think we did refills on either the glögg or the EANAB  punch, which was surprising.  But everyone seemed to have their fill (and we have beer enough to last the winter months).

Today is “Thirteenth Day” game day — not sure who will be coming over, but we’ve plenty of left-overs.

Good times!
