- Autostrade traffic goes between 40 mph and 140 mph. Sometimes side by side. I avged ~85, which sounds much better when 130 kph. #

- Good news: found gas station and helpful Italian to fill up. Bad news: grocery stores all close at 8:30p. #
- Emergency recourse to La Foresteria restaurant on Monsummano Alto – quite good. True of every meal. Great Italian food in Italy, gofigger. #
- How do you know when an Italian driver wants to pass you on the autostrade? They haven't passed you yet. #
- So today is the Firenze Death March through many glorious museums and cultural sites in Florence. Wearing good walking shoes. #
