Re 14: My stepsister and her husband actually work for an agency that cleans these houses after folks have left. I’ve heard a few stories of odd things people leave behind, or the way people trash their houses before they go.
I can believe the trashing part — we saw at least one of those when we were looking around at places when Jackie was house hunting.
