- GOP senior officials quietly trying to restore science to their agenda – Good luck with that. The only way it will happen is if the TP leads to some massive GOP defeats, removing the need for Republican candidates and office-holders to pander to them. Except, of course, it’s not just the TPers, but the major corporate contributors to the GOP (e.g., the Koch Bros.) who have a vested interest in keeping inconvenient science off of the national agenda.
