Not a whole article here, but a little snippet from your AFA radio show about how gays have nothing to be proud about because there have been (gasp) evil gays in the past.
This whole thing is about Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender History Month. So my question again, if this is about homosexual history month, are they going to feature all the homosexuals that had an enormous impact on history?
Probably not. Any more than American History features all the Americans who’ve had an enormous impact on history, or Black History Month features all the African Americans who’ve had an enormous impact on history, or … well, you get the idea, Bryan.
Are they going to feature John Wayne Gacy? He’s the homosexual pedophile, remember, that killed thirty-three young boys and young teenagers and buried them under the crawlspace in his house. He was a homosexual. Is he going to be a part of their display?
First off, Bryan, are you suggesting that John Wayne Gacy had “an enormous impact on history”?
Second off, Bryan, there’s obviously a difference between a homosexual pedophile and a homosexual, just as there are differences between heterosexual pedophiles and heterosexuals. (Gacy was also quite clearly bisexual, but I’m sure that’s not a distinction that matters to you, Bryan.)
Third off, Bryan, when you publicly celebrate the wonders of pursuing sexual relations between male and female partners, like God Meant It To Be, do you mention all of the heterosexual pedophiles out there (married or not)? Do you bring up folks like Earl Wayne Martin or Warren Jeffs or Joshua Adam Smith or Donald L Brown or Nicholas Chau?
Suggesting that gays are hiding the truth about homosexuality by not mentioning Gacy, is as silly as suggesting that straights are hiding the truth by not mentioning Ted Bundy. After all, Bundy was diligent in his murder-rape spree across multiple states in only attacking women, so clearly he should should be in the “display” of any attempt to celebrate or show pride in heterosexuality.
Adolf Hitler had a record as a homosexual prostitute in the streets of Vienna in the 1910s. He was denied promotions in the German military in World War I because of his homosexual behavior. He formed the Nazi Party in a homosexual bar, a gay bar, in Munich. All of his enforcers, almost every one of the Brownshirts; all the officers and almost all the Brownshirts were homosexuals. Is that going to be a part of Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender Month? We will wait to see.
Ah, the old “Hitler was Gay, so Gays are all like Hitler!” meme. It’s become a strange little love child of the anti-gay Right, largely promoted in recent years by fellow-AFAer Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams in the vividly titled The Pink Swastika. That Lively is a strident anti-gay activist is of no surprise, nor is that Abrams, along with Lively, is a Holocaust revisionist whose cause celebre is the claim that gays were not, in fact, sent to concentration camps by the Reich.
One could ask, Bryan, if you will in turn, celebrate such famous heterosexuals as Mao, Stalin, Vlad Tepes, Attila the Hun, et al.
Or one could ask how you can support the claims of Lively and Abrams book, given the thorough debunking that has been done of its corrupt thesis and systematic misquotation and misapplication of historical data.
It’s ironic that at one point propaganda and jokes were made about Hitler’s purported sexual issues in order to discredit him, while today in your world, Bryan, Hitler’s purported homosexuality is used as a club against gays.
Funny world, isn’t it?
So, in summary, we’ve got you claiming that Gay Pride Week should acknowledge that John Wayne Gacy and (historical record or not) Adolph Hitler were gay. I think that’s fine, as soon as you tout Ted Bundy and Josef Stalin as examples of God’s heterosexual plan for his creation. Deal?
