  1. Well, that’s it. When word of this gets out, Peter Jackson is going to pack it in. There’s no way his pitiful two-part movie can compare with this masterpiece. He doesn’t even have a dragon named “Slag”!

    1. Yeah, it was … um … a charming artifact (and a chilling reminder of what can happen when someone doesn’t feel the need to stick to the original story for commercial and authorial reasons).
